Part of the time spent was that after sketching numerous times and getting it worked out in the computer, I made my own molds, and poured this myself. its all one piece, poured out of plastic just like the oem one. Its not an add on or a second piece. its one larger bezel, and the three gauge barrels are actually separate. they slide into the bezel and lock in place. dont want to give too much away, thats about all im going to say about the crazy time spent on that one piece. quite a few projects like this on my z over the years. funny thing is that i am mocking up a jspec lip out of cf as we speak. again a one off most likely
